And the two-time European distance champion, Álvaro Martín Uriol, was at the starting line, in search of his second national title this season, given that a few days ago he achieved the 35 km walk.
With a stunning start, the CAPEX athlete from Llerena led the race at all times, finally entering the finish line in first position and subsequently climbing to the top of the podium, achieving, in the process, his qualification for the Spanish team that will compete in the Championship. of Europe Team Walking on Sunday, May 21 in Podebrady.
The Spanish and CAPEX march gave a new joy on Monday the 27th, with the victory of the incombustible Miguel Periáñez and the fourth place of Macarena Uriol in the World Master Athletics Championship that is being held in Torum (Poland) in the 3000m event March.
On Friday, CAPEX’s participation in said world championship will culminate in the 10 km walk with the participation of Miguel and Macarena.
